This doe is the absolute sweetest goat in our herd. She is such a doll to handle, and just loves our attention! She is so eager to jump on the milk stand for me and has the friendliest temperament I think of all the does in our herd. Her milk is desired by all of the other goat kids because of how creamy it is. We really cant wait to have Autumn on milk test to see what her butter fat percentage will be. Due to that, we've had to keep her separated from the nursery at times, because kids were stealing milk from her and overworking the poor girl!
Autumn is an American Nubian, BUT she has an amazing pedigree! Her udder is one of the prettiest, and even though her teats are not as big as I would prefer, she is easy to milk out. Her sire, Black Mesa Abraham is son of SG Black Mesa Leonardo Dicapra and 2017’s ADGA #1 in Butter Fat SG Black Mesa Tally’s Reese! Tally's Reese was 2017 highest butter fat producer.
