Who's your babies daddy
Oh Wendy! Who is your babies daddy?! I am so confused with this Junior doe, and who sired her kids. We will definitely know once they are born because of the dates. The thing is this girl is already bagging up, so it has me questioning. We are most definitely going to do a paternity test to make sure we are correct on this. Kenai had been covering does, when we didnt know or think he was covering them. Wendy here was bred to Oliver, a breeding I witnessed personally, but she was living with Kenai the entire time before and after. With her already bagging up, it has me confused. Either way, we are excited that Wendy is going to be freshening for the first time. So far, her udder looks very promising! She is a doll on the stand, and I hope her temperament is an improvement from her dam as Lanna is a bit on the shy side, and hard to get onto the milk stand due to her large size. Wendy is in route to being just as large, but far more eager to jump on the milk stand and handling.
Whoever sired Wendy's kids, we are just happy to have her added to our milk test, and Linear Appraisal group!
What do you think? Will she make it to April 30th and the kids belong to Oliver? Or will she kid before and they belong to Kenai!?
